Meet the Agents

 I moved to the Sandhills in 1999 to be near family. I have watched it grow and become a small city, but my love for it has never changed. 

Born in Denver, then growing up in a small town in California, I attended UCSB and UOP (University of Phoenix) and later moved to Boston to be near my little brothers. I do golf (although, not well!) and enjoy all the other activities that we have to offer. I believe in Realtors and adhere to our Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, and will ensure every transaction with us provides an amazing, educational and beneficial experience.

If I cannot assist you, I will find someone that can! Dog lovers here, as you can tell! I have a lab, Finn, who hopefully you will meet someday.

As an Army brat, I understand the challenges military families go through when moving.  My family moved 18 times with the military and with my dad's career after he left the service. Let me be your trusted resource to help you navigate this crazy real estate market.  My experience pricing homes in an ever changing market and negotiating terms of the contract and repairs has made me a top producer year after year.  In addition to being a broker, I am the 2023 President of the Mid Carolina Association of Realtors, serve on several boards and committees for NC Realtors, and a certified real estate pre- and post-licensing instructor for the NC Real Estate Commission. 

I am married to my husband Walt, have 2 adult children, Graham and Emerson and an amazing grandson, Bradley.  I am also the mom to two very large great danes.  I love spending time with my family and running when time allows.  

 I am originally from Ohio and moved to North Carolina 10 years ago.  I spent most of that time in Charlotte, but enjoyed traveling all over the Carolinas. I quickly fell in love with the Pinehurst area and am excited to make it my permanent home.

I have an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Drafting and Design, acquired my Real Estate License and worked for a builder while in Ohio. I love remodeling homes (and have remodeled several), and I have always gone into a home analyzing the best use of the space or how to improve it. I bring those skills into the world of Real Estate, which is a great benefit to my clients.

I was also a Personal Trainer and Manager for 10 years, which has provided me with the ability to problem solve to get the best results, the art of persuasion to acquire the needed result, and the skills  to find exactly what works for each individual client.

My experience and passion for homes and helping people made choosing a career in Real Estate a no-brainer. I truly enjoy helping people find the perfect home in the area that best suits them. I love helping my clients prepare their houses to sell quickly, and for the best price. I use my skills and knowledge to make the buying and selling processes go as seamless and stress-free as possible.

I also enjoy hiking, boating, and volunteering with animals; especially special needs dogs, since I have a blind dog of my own.

Dean is a native of Ohio and, prior to entering real estate, spent almost 25 years as a PGA golf professional at some of the finest clubs in the country, including eight years at the famed Pinehurst Resort nearby. The skills that Dean has acquired as a golf professional, along with his knowledge and
passion for the area, make him the perfect fit to assist you with your real estate needs! 

 My primary focus for the last 27 years has been raising my family and all that comes with having seven kids. We are a large family that grew through adopting from our state foster system. The majority of my skills have come through life experiences. Managing a large family, multi tasking skills, time management, ability to focus on multiple situations at once and organize chaos are a few of these skills. Many years ago I gained experience as a law clerk, title searcher and substitute/homebound instructor. My more current experience is in marketing, fitness instructing and life coach/mentor to the 150+ clients of the fitness center. In 2018 our family moved to NC to be closer to extended family and I decided to pursue my North Carolina Real Estate Broker license. I was licensed in November 2018 and am still currently licensed. My previous experience working with people and building relationships has helped me form meaningful connections with my real estate clients. Understanding how someone thinks, works and processes information can be vital to advising them through the journey of real estate. Working with people in a guiding, advising, mentoring, coaching and counseling way is how I feel most beneficial. It is time for me to continue to find another opportunity where I can do some of these things and be a benefit to whomever gives me a chance. I do need some flexibility in my time which is a main reason for needing to be remote. I understand this may be a harder fit to find but I would love an opportunity to discuss anything that may be available and you feel I may be of benefit to your company.
